Expert Dog Training Services
We are a Dog Training and a GSP and Belgian Malinois Dog Breeding kennel. We specialize in Breeding and Training Working and pet Dogs. We Breed and Train German Shorthaired Pointers for Hunting, Agility, Mushing Sports and loving pets, as well as Belgian Malinois for Personal Protection and Law Enforcement work or the serious active Dog Sport homes. Most of our Dogs come from the "old country" and we try to continue the legacy that has been laid out in the best Military, Protection and Hunting dogs globally ever produced.
Please note, all our dogs are also our beloved family pets. We do not do any protection work with our GSP dogs and our Malinois dogs travel with us and our children and cats everywhere.
Video Call Training Sessions
We know busy schedules and distance can keep many of our clients from reaching out to get the training they are looking for, so we are now offering one on one training sessions via video chat to help with your dog training requests.
Sessions are up 30 minutes each and cost $75 CAD
Science-Based Dog Training Techniques
John has life long experience in training dogs from the smallest “couch dogs” to the toughest military working partners. He also worked, titled and helped to prepare dogs to National and World Championships in Tracking, Obedience and Protection in the sport of Schutzhund and worked with many wonderful people and their dogs at the highest level of training worldwide. We should also mention, he is a certified protection decoy helper.
In the past few years, he focused his energy mainly on training Personal Protection Dogs, Obedience, Tracking, Bird Hunting dogs and the Mushing Sports such as Dog Sledding and Bikejoring with all of our dogs. And of course, all pet dog related issues.
Dog Training Club
If you would like to get much further in your training with your CzechMate Malinois puppy or GSP puppy and if you are ready to adjust your lifestyle and want to be serious about dog training then you could join our small private dog training club. We would have to see if you have what it takes and you have to pass a probationary period. We screen our members and we run a tight and trustworthy group. We do not charge money to our Czechmate clients that qualify to be a part of our team.

Group Dog Training Seminars
We also offer personalized and group dog training lessons and seminars for pet dog owners and K9 handlers to help them enjoy happier and more enjoyable fun life with their four-legged friends, or get their working dog to a top notch level. Contact us if you would like us to organize a one or two day long group training course.
Dog Tracking Lessons
We Occasionally set up Tracking Clinics for all who are interested in experiencing a whole new level of communication and co operation between your self and your dog. These seminars are usually lot of fun and low key.

We love tracking at Czechmate Kennels and we believe that tracking is a very important part of proper dog breed selection amongst Malinois and protection dogs in general. Whether you receive a malinois puppy or a gsp puppy from Czechmate kennels you can be sure we selected our dogs very carefully.
